Day 7:

- seventh day of fast, (dun dun duhnnnn) broken.
- 1hr tae bo advanced
- 30m tae bo basics
- 35m bootcamp abs

Mood:
sweet. well, it's more like a bittersweet. nah, it's more sweet. lol.

hey guys! i feel like i havent been on in so long. i think that's in part to work going by painfully slow today. anywho...back to business.

at 4:47pm this evening, i broke my fast (there's not a smiley to describe my feelings). but, let me go back first. last night, i prepared my mat to work out and my mom walked in to say goodbye, as she was going out, saw me getting ready to work out and very adamantly told me that i was too weak to and shouldnt. i said, "okay" with all intentions on waiting till she left to do so anyway. theeeen, my sister called and only reiterated my mother's sentiments and after a three hour conversation about why i should conserve my energy i decided not to.

the next morning, i woke up feeling great that i actually got through the night but soon realized i was really weak again. so, i made my way to the kitchen for a shot of maple syrup (the little that was left) and some water. i ended up laying on the living room sofa for about half an hour contemplating if i should even go to work. i decided to go and pulled myself together.

while at work, i sprawled out across any flat surface i could find. i was physically drained but not tired. so i just tried to be still to rest my body as much as possible. i still mingled and socialized but i wasnt very active. so much so that i barely took two sips of water. i just wasnt interested. during lunch i drove some guys to a shopping center near my house and drove home to get another shot of maple syrup. by the time i came back home from work i was STARVING. but, since i made sure to clear the kitchen of any foods id eat, there was only my mother's food. (shakes head) ...need i say more. i ended up grabbing two slices of bread and some mango juice. by the time i was done i had made and eaten three sandwiches. my mother hugged me and said, i was praying for this, as if she thought id pass out before i made it to day ten. i laughed and conked out on the coach.

when i woke up, i felt a little groggy. washed my face. shook it off and with newfound energy, got back to Billy. and thus marks the end of the first part of my fast. i will be continuing to the tenth, however, since i am hard headed and will see this through one way or another. (grin)

i must say though, i am very, very proud of myself for making it through this far, especially with my period, cause let me tell ya... (you understand). i remained strong through a picnic, a dinner party, and my mother bringing home pizza and cookies & cream ice cream (my absolute FAV) tonight to tempt me out of my resistance. in the end, i lost the five pounds i so gladly added on over the holidays and i would definitely do it again in 6-9 months. it's been great.

well, until tomorrow people!
